Coconut oil is brimming with living lipids. It has MCT(medium-chain-triglycerides)’s which are forms of saturated fats - richest source of Lauric acid, Capric acid, and Caprylic acid. Hence, it is organically moisturizing, skin healing, antioxidant, anti fungal and antimicrobial. Coconut oil is therapeutic to skin and has balancing hormone properties. It can stop the wrinkles and any irritation on the surface or beneath it.
Lauric acid - It can be found in coconut, full fat dairy products, egg yolks and palm oil. The richest amongst all in Lauric acid is Coconut oil. Lauric acid is best known for its antimicrobial properties that’s why it's able to fight virus and bacterial infections.
Capric acid - It can be found easily in coconut oil and palm oil. It is also available in small amounts in cow’s and goat’s milk. It has antimicrobial and antiviral properties.
Caprylic acid- It has anti-inflammatory properties, its anti fungal, antiviral and anti bacterial. It can be found easily in coconut oil, breast milk, cow’s milk and peanut butter. Caprylic acid can fight bacteria that lives on the surface of the skin which can further cause infections like acne. It can naturally improve acne and reduce the scarring.
